Do you dream of traveling to space?

We live in a world of great geological and ecological diversity. Have a look, you’ll think that you’ve traveled to another world!

Teotihuacan

There is so much we can learn about the ancient world. With every discovery, archaeologists uncover more about civilizations that came before us.           Very little is known about the people who lived in the city of Teotihuacan. About 30 miles northeast of Mexico City, it was the greatest city in the Western Hemispherebefore the 1400s, the Mayans, and the Aztecs. The Aztecs, after discovering the city, named it Teotihuacan, “the place where god were created.”

Fly Geyser, United States

Fly Geyser, located in the Nevada Desert, is a collection of three large, colorful mounds which continually shoot five feet of water straight up into the air. It was accidentally created in 1916, during a routine well-drilling. It worked normally until the 1960s, when heated geothermal water started spurting out through the well. Dissolved minerals began to accumulate and gradually built up into the large, colored mounds we see today. Fly Geyser is amongst the most secret places on Earth, as it’s located on private property and no tourists or sightseers are allowed in.

Mount Roraima, Brazil

Mount Roraima is particularly unusual to look at because, rather than finishing in a peak like most mountains, its top is a large plateau. It’s thought to be amongst the world’s oldest geological formations, and its plateau was most likely created by winds and rains. The plateau is often cloaked with clouds, which are more often than not near the top of the mountain. It has a particularly large number of endemic species of flora and fauna – species that can can be found nowhere else on Earth. There’s no explanation as to why it has such an unusually large amount.

 Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Yellowstone National Park is among the most famous parklands in the world, drawing droves of visitors from around the globe each year. As the active caldera of a tremendous super volcano, it houses some spectacularly unusual vistas. Visitors travel here to watch erupting geysers and explore colorful acidic hot springs. The terrain is delicate—and dangerous—but walkways make much of it accessible.

Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia

This is the largest salt flat on the planet, measuring 10,582 square kilometers. About half of the lithium on the planet is stored in this salt flat. During the dry season, the white, cracked ground extends into the distance, looking impressively alien. During the wet season, the basin fills. The shallow water stretches to the horizon, amazingly flat and reflective—like a huge liquid mirror.
